Others have far worse cases of this dreadful disease, losing all ability to move their hands and these unlucky people usually require surgery. For many, carpal tunnel is a disease which causes serious signs of distress only after the injury has already progressed to a very dangerous state. Wearing a wrist brace whenever you notice serious wrist pain is a good preventative measure for this injury.
